The same goes for departing after the show.

Local Parking Lots

Richard Rodgers Theatre is located in central Manhattan, where parking is never easy. There’s no designated on-site parking, so you’ll need to rely instead on local parking garages. Depending on how far they are from the theatre, charges are something like $25 to $60 for six hours. Most of them are within a few minutes walk.

You can use a parking app to find spaces in advance when you buy your tickets.

Some indoor parking garages have low roof clearance, so you can’t use these with raised-roof vans. Most outdoor parking lots allow you to park such vans, but it’s best to confirm your requirements directly with the parking facility.

Special Permits

New York City ordinances allow people with disabilities to park on the street near the Richard Rodgers Theatre, provided you display a valid New York City Parking Permit for People with Disabilities (PPPD). You must carefully follow all the rules and regulations printed on the back of the permit, which tell you where you can park and where you can’t. Residents and non-residents may apply for PPPD permits.

Visitors with accessible parking permits issued by other US states or countries may use these in New York City, but not for on-street parking. You can only use these permits in off-street NYC parking lots with designated disability spaces.
